 1. Morning: The Magic of San Gimignano &  Legendary Gelato

Our morning begins in San Gimignano, famously known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages” due to its spectacular, intact medieval towers that pierce the Tuscan sky. As we walk through the town, I will share the fascinating history of this UNESCO World Heritage site, which was once a vital stop for pilgrims along the ancient Via Francigena. You will have dedicated free time to stroll its historic stone streets, explore local artisan boutiques, and make an absolute mandatory stop in the main piazza. Here, you will find one of the most famous and award-winning gelaterias in Italy, where you can taste globally renowned, unique flavors.

 2. Midday: Etruscan WINE CELLAR , Family Welcome & traditional home made Lunch

Next, we will drive into the beautiful surrounding countryside to visit a truly magical property: an intimate family-run cellar with roots that literally descend deep into ancient history. This estate holds an incredible secret. The local family discovered and uncovered the physical remains of an ancient Etruscan cellar, dug straight out of the volcanic tuff rock inside an original Etruscan tomb, where wine was produced and stored thousands of years ago.

Together with the local family, you will enjoy a private visit of this unique underground archaeological site and their beautiful estate. Afterward, we will sit down for a full, traditional Tuscan lunch prepared by the family using fresh, local ingredients, masterfully paired with an outstanding selection of wines from the surrounding Chianti area (non-Chianti Classico).

• 4-Course Traditional Countryside Lunch: A full shared meal served by the family in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

• Premium Wine & Olive Oil Tasting: Dedicated tasting of the family’s extra virgin olive oil and a selection of local wines from the surrounding Chianti production area (excluding the Classico denomination).

• Antipasto: A classic selection of local Tuscan cured meats, regional cheeses, and traditional countryside crostini.

• Primo Piatto: Authentic homemade pasta tossed with traditional, rich local sauces.

• Secondo Piatto: A classic Tuscan meat course (such as roasted pork arista or grilled meats) served with fresh, seasonal side dishes straight from the garden.

• Dolce: Homemade family dessert (such as traditional cantuccini or artisanal tiramisù) served with fresh Italian coffee.

• Duration: Full half-day experience (Approximately 5 to 6 hours total, perfectly pacing the morning in San Gimignano and the 2.5 to 3-hour private tour and lunch at the Etruscan estate).
